WRIGHT-PATTERSON AIR FORCE BASE, Ohio – Five pallets of cargo containing rice and other supplies needed in Haiti are unloaded from a 445th Airlift Wing C-17 Globemaster III Aug. 31. The C-17 moved more than 105,000 pounds of cargo to and from Joint Base Charleston, S.C., to Haiti as part of the Denton Program, a program that allows donors to use space available on U.S. military cargo planes to transport humanitarian goods and equipment to countries in need.
