87th APS part of NASA shuttle trainer move
WRIGHT-PATTERSON AIR FORCE BASE, Ohio - Senior Airman Kevin Shaffer, 87th Aerial Port Squadron air transportation journeyman, along with 11 other 87 APS Airmen, NASA loadmasters and National Museum of the United States Air Force restoration specialists, unload the first Shuttle Crew Compartment Trainer from an 87th APS 60K loader into the museum’s Cold War Gallery Aug. 23. The interior will be reassembled here then put on display for the general public when it is moved to a new Space Gallery in the museum’s planned fourth building (U.S. Air Force photo/Lt. Col.
