445th AW supports AirVenture 2012
WRIGHT-PATTERSON AIR FORCE BASE, Ohio – A 445th Airlift Wing C-17 Globemaster III provides shade to aviation enthusiasts attending the 2012 Experimental Aircraft Association (EAA) AirVenture at Wittman Regional Airport, Oshkosh, Wis., July 24. The wing displayed its mission capabilities to more than 500,000 attendees. The crew providing the aircraft and support from the wing for the two-day event included two pilots and two loadmasters from the 89th Airlift Squadron, two flying crew chiefs from the 445th Aircraft Maintenance Squadron and a nurse and medical technician from the 445th Aeromedical Evacuation Squadron.
