POW/MIA Day
WRIGHT-PATTERSON AFB, Ohio -- The flagpole is surrounded by names of Ohio military members who are still unaccounted for from the Vietnam War. The names are rubbings from the Vietnam Wall Memorial in Washington D.C. The color backing represents the service each member belongs to. Green for Army; red for Marine Corps; blue for Air Force and dark blue for the Navy. The desert boots and helmet are for Sgt. Matt Maupin from Ohio who is still missing from Iraqi Freedom.
