WRIGHT-PATTERSON AIR FORCE BASE, Ohio - A C-5 Galaxy aircraft assigned to the 445th Airlift Wing passes over Grissom Air Reserve Base, Ind. recently. The aircraft's crews were "shooting approaches" for training where they practiced lining the aircraft up for different types of landings. Grissom's Midwest location away from major cities and population areas makes it ideal for aircraft from bases all over the eastern United States to practice approach procedures for training. The C-5 is one of the largest aircraft in the world and the largest airlifter in the Air Force inventory and can carry more cargo than any other airlifter. (Air Force photo/Staff Sgt. Chris Bolen)
