C-17s join Army to tote the load
A 445th Airlift Wing C-17 Globemaster III helped transport an Army M1A1SA Abrams Main Battle Tank April 11 at Wright Army Airfield, Ga. Soldiers and Airmen worked in unison over two days to load and secure four of the 1/118th Combat Arms Brigade’s new M1A1SA Abrams Main Battle Tanks onto four C-17s belonging to the 445th AW and the 315th Airlift Wing, Joint Base Charleston, S.C.
