C-17 gets a bath
Reserve Citizen Airmen assigned to the 445th Maintenance Group wash a C-17 Globemaster III here March 27, 2020. The wash is part of a process called post aircraft wash corrosion control and is done every 180 days. This process prevents corrosion from spreading, and it ensures the lifelong structural integrity of the aircraft. The 445th Airlift Wing continues to keep the mission moving during COVID-19.
