  • 87th APS performs annual tour at Dover

    Airmen from the 87th Aerial Port Squadron performed their annual tour at Dover Air Force Base, Delaware, July 2019. While there, Airmen worked at various areas to support their active duty counterparts, including the cargo processing section.
  • 445th LRS officer nominated for ROA award

    Capt. Phillip Sobers, 445th Logistics Readiness Squadron, deputy director of operations, has been nominated by Air Force Reserve Command for the 2019 Reserve Officers Association Outstanding Junior Officer of the Year. Sobers was selected as a nominee for his accomplishments beginning October 1, 2017 through September 30, 2018.

    The 445th Airlift Wing is proud to announce the second quarter CY 19 award winners.
  • Airmen hone survival skills with SERE training

    Twenty-five 445th Airlift Wing pilots, loadmasters and medical crew joined with members from Niagara Falls and Pittsburgh Air Reserve Stations to receive combat survival skills training July 13 at Wright Patterson Air Force Base and July 14 at a nearby lake in London, Ohio, to complete their water survival skills training. Some of the training must be repeated annually, biannually or every three years.
  • Building stronger Airmen through Resiliency Total Force Partnerships

    The stress of performing operations for an extended time, frequent deployments and exposure to extreme violence eventually takes a toll on Airmen. The 655th Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance Wing, 718th Intelligence Squadron, makes taking care of Airmen a priority, providing services and events designed to discuss and actively participate in team resilience training.
