445th AW announces 4th quarter award winners

The 445th Airlift Wing has announced the Airman, Non-Commisioned Officer and Senior Non-Commissioned Officer 4th Quarter Award winners.

Senior Airman Ashley Hacker is the Airman of the Quarter. She is assigned to the 445th Aircraft Maintenance Squadron. Airman Hacker is noted for passing a quality assurance inspection with no deficiencies. Her quick actions and troubleshooting during an aircraft launch, allowed an aircrew to complete pre-flight and take-off on time. She is an American Red Cross blood donor and helps support a church mission for needy families.

Tech. Sgt. Nathan Lowman is the Non-Commisioned Officer of the Quarter. He is assigned to the 445th Maintenance Operations Flight. Sergeant Lowman processed more than nine million pounds of mail while deployed to Ali Al Salem Air Base, Kuwait. He is a self aid buddy care instructor for MOF. He is active in the local community to include escorting World War II veterans to Washington, D.C., and beinf an active member of the Wounded Warrior Project.

Senior Master Sgt. Michael West is the Senior Non-Commisioned Officer of the quarter. He is assigned to the 445th Aircraft Maintenance Squadron. Sergeant West's experience scheduling of repair actions resulted in a net flying hour gain of 187.7 for more than two months. He authored the AMXS production supervisor continuity book and improved the performance and consistency of production supervisors. He serves as coach for his community elementary baseball and basketball teams, and volunteers with a Cub Scout troop.
